Pricing and contract: one fixed price per event and clear rules for weather, connectivity and cancellation
This page explains how your proposal is structured and which rules are agreed in advance. The amounts are in your written proposal.
How your proposal is structured
- one fixed price per event for the services and add-ons you choose
- we only provide extras, such as longer broadcast time or more cameras, after your approval and with the price agreed in advance
- travel, accommodation and other third-party costs are only included where the proposal lists them; we agree any other foreseeable third-party costs with you in advance
- payment in three instalments: on signing, before set-up and after the event
What your club gets out of it
- A fixed price you can put in your budget and present to your board.
- No extra charges without your approval.
- You know the rules for weather, connectivity and cancellation before you sign.
Rules agreed in advance
| Case | Rule |
|---|---|
| Weather and races | If races are postponed or cancelled because of wind, weather or race committee decisions, the fee stands as long as the team and equipment are ready. We broadcast and deliver what is possible, following the fallback plan. |
| Connectivity | If connectivity fails outside our area of responsibility, such as the mobile network, the harbour internet or the platform, that is not a defect. We broadcast with whatever is available. |
| Cancellation by you | A sliding cancellation scale applies by date; the closer to the event, the higher the share. Preparation already carried out is paid for, we deduct costs saved, and you can show that the actual loss was lower. |
| Force majeure, such as an official ban | We agree next steps with you straight away; you pay for what has already been delivered or can no longer be cancelled. |
Liability
- We have unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence and personal injury; otherwise as set out in the contract.
Usage rights to the material
Which usage rights your club receives for the delivered material, including for your sponsors' communication, is set out in your proposal. Paid advertising and resale are agreed separately.
Before signing, we clarify who holds the media rights to your event. Image rights and consent
